12th March 2009 - Day 3

Another day down, appearance wise not a great deal of difference from yesterday. The main change is that lymph fluid has been obviously draining as the bandage is quite stained now and looks quite rank! I Can’t wait to get the bandage off on Saturday.

The bruising does appear to have gone down a little bit as well. I hope this continues. As for last night I went to bed at 2:00 AM and slept right through until 6:00 AM when I woke up with an erection. Taking on some advice given yesterday I jumped out of bed and ran down to the kitchen to apply an ice pack. (I had to improvise so used a bag of frozen peas!)

After a couple of pain killers I went back to sleep only to wake up again an hour later having to do the same again. So I decided to stay awake at this point.
For the tonight I have invested in some gel ice packs that should work ideally. I will be able to take the proper gel ice packs back to bed with me.

I have spent the day on the sofa today, just wearing a t-shirt and allowing air to get to it. Have had no problems at all, and everything has felt very comfortable.

I attempted to pee standing up earlier and it did not go to plan so won’t be attempting that again so soon!

Right going to attempt to have a much needed shower now, will be interesting as I need to wrap my penis in a plastic bag!
