20th March 2009 - Day 11

In just the short time since yesterday, I can see noticeable differences with regards to the progress in my healing. It all appears to be coming on so well now, and I am very happy with how everything is going!
Rather than having a bath this morning I opted to shower instead, and then a few times throughout the day I have given my penis a 5 minute soak in warm salt water using a cup.
The incision line is looking good with the exception of the top area which is still healing a little slower, around each of the stitch areas it is slightly red, so a sign that the stitches are no longer needed.

I decided that I did not want to attempt to remove my own stitches, so I have spoken to my GP and have an appointment with him on Monday, where he will have a look at them and see what is the best course of action. I feel a lot more comfortable at allowing a professional to do this in his sterile conditions with the right equipment, so waiting until Monday really is the right course of action. Seeing my GP will also be a good opportunity to see what he thinks of my healing and how everything is going, this will be very re-assuring.

The frenulem area is still taking its time to dry out, but is obviously getting better and it seems that all the healing is happening underneath the surface wound.

Last night was the best night’s sleep of the 11 days so far, I even had a lay in! Night time erections now feel absolutely fine, and just as they used to do, so no worries there.

Have been out and about today, and wearing shorts and jeans is easy and feels great. Any sensitivity of my penis against my clothes is certainly a positive.

Nothing more to report today, but I’m back to work tomorrow, so will see how I get on!
