***Kind response to Jeff***
Hello.
I understand where your coming from Jeff, but in my experience and research into the topic of lost nerve endings, the benifits of a circumcision made my life much better, while incereasing my sexual sensitivity.
Even though quite right, the loss of skin and frenelum decreases sensitivity, since my circumcision, I oddly have much better pleasure and sensation when having sex and masturbating. I only feel less sensitive when my penis is soft, (which is good as it feels comforatble in my boxer shorts) but more when i'm erect. I had no tight foreskin or any problems with its function before, so it's not like it used to be hurting or anything.
However, I don't think that everybody needs or should be cut, but I do think it's best for some people. In my case, it stopped me getting a bladder or balanitis infections every other week and NOTHING else EVER worked. It never smells like it used to, even though I used to wash it every day, with and without soaps.
I just think that believing that everybody should be circumcised, or believeing that nobody should ever be circumcised is wrong.
Accepting that it may really benifit some men should be your view, as many angry men who never had the chioce at birth are angry about what they may have missed out on.

II was circumcised in my mid-20's for no medical reason--but rather for hygene, appearance, and sexual functions. It was done under loca (while I was awake) and I had vertually no pain at all. Within 10 days it was almost completely healed to the point where I could have gentle sex or masterbation. To my surprise, the head never was sensitaive to rubbing on my clothing as I thought it would. It felt very natural from the beginning. The only regret that I have was that I did not know I could have told the doctor what type of circ I wanted. I understand you may request a tight cut, or a loose one. You can also request a high cut or a low one. You may also request the flenulum to be removed or left intact. The last thing that I would have liked would have been to ask the doctor to use some professional instruments in doing the cuts instead of doing them "Freehand". This would have made the cir line very straight whereas mine came out quite crooked. But I am so happy that I had mine done. Sex feels even better for me so all the sensitivity of the foreskin was something that I have never missed.

Hi i had a adult circumcision yesterday due to medical reasons. i had it by general anathetic and all is good, no pain at all but i have been awake since 4am this morning due to severe pain from night erections whilst sleeping but apart from that oh and the only thing that is uncomfortable is the head of my penis rubbing against my clothing thats going to take a long time to get used to. i'm glad i got it done it looks better and its way more hygenic but for guys getting this done please dont be nervous the operation is very easy and trust me its pain free apart from the night erections whilst sleeping and every guy gets them but when you wake up in pain due to the erections get out of bed and start doing press ups i find that the best way to make the penis soft again from the erection cause even with the severe pain the penis still was erect. so on a whole i'm very happy with it so if you need to be circumcised dont worry about it go for it and have a speedy recovery.

I was circumcised 32 years ago at the age of 28 so have experience as an adult of being both circumcised and uncircumcised. In my opinion there is no difference - other than that there is no offensive odour, no little cuts and tears and small infections. Personally, I think it scandalous that in the UK the medical profession only offers this treatment as a last resort free to the patient when all else has failed. Patients may have months of disappointment and misery trying anti-biotic creams, steroid ointments and the like when the quick and simple solution is circumcision.
Mention has been made by those opposed, for whatever reason, to this minor procedure, to the thousands of nerve endings in the foreskin. That may or may not be correct but does anyone masturbate by stroking the inner foreskin rather than the glans? Surely these nerve endings have no significant influence on sexual pleasure ?
Anyway, congratulations on a well designed site and for giving anyone contemplating the operation some firm information based on actual experience.
Circumcsion is a minor procedure, not a fate worse than death!

hi, great blog, really helpful! i am due to be circumcised in the next few weeks....how long did you have to wait before intercourse again?

A great site.
I am in my 60s but have had to have a circumcision for medical reasons. I had it just 6 days ago by local anaesthetic in a private clinic. Beforehand I was worried until I read your log. It helped me get through it. It all went smoothly. The surgeon was excellent. I am now experiencing much of what you have explained in your log. Thank you so much.
If anyone else is worried - don't be. Read this log.

I forgot to tell you: i'm 27 and chose circumcision for ony cosmetic, hygiene and comfort reasons, as I never had any phymosis or infection.

Hi, I want to thank you for this blog that helped me in my decision to get cut by Dr Zarifa. I'm from Paris and here we don't have any doctor with such reputation. I was circumcised Wednesday and I can't wait to see the final result! I was worrying about pain, discomfort etc. but it's surprinsingly easy and painless!

idkwut2do, you do not need a circumcision. You need to see your doctor who will presribe a cream to help you stretch your tight foreskin. You can also search for and contact NORM-UK for information and advice about this. If creams do not work (they ususally do) then there are other less damaging surgical procedures that can be done. If you have a circumcision you will lose the 'frenar band', which contains 20,000 out of the 24,000 sexual nerve endings on your penis (80%). This could well result in sexual dysfunction. Circumcision significantly reduces the sensation in your penis. The foreskin has lots of functions. Don't make the biggest mistake of your life.

i am 18 years old and living in the uk and was thinking about getting a circumcision.
i am currently able when flaccid pull my foreskin all the way back to the head of the penis, but when erect i cant even manage to pull it back that far, i am just wondering if u come reply me your views on if u think its worth doing and if anyone did it by the uk could give me a rough estimate of how much it would be.
i was also wondering if my symptons on not being able to pull it back when erect might have anything to do with phimosis.

hello, I want to share my story with u guys , both those that got it done and those thinking of getting it done. My reason was the sex. I couldnt pull it back enough durring intercourse. I also would get crackes on my skin after rough sex, especially if i haddent had sex or masturbated in a while, and not to mention the persisting scent, i know what ur thinking, "this guy needs to shower often" or "wash better", trust me it would smell after a couple of hrs. especially if u live in a hot environment. The doctor recomended getting cut would elimminate all my issues. I got it done at a hospital, thats where the specialist performed my surgery, got preped, and went in. its over before u know it. it didnt hurt much after . on a scale of 1-10, a pinched foreskin on a zipper is a 20 the after pain of a circumcision was a 1 maybe 2 for me u can ask me any questions about it contact me at jon2dae@gmail.com thanks

Hi, congratulations on an excellent site. I am an ex-pat living in sunny spain and have wanted to be circed since having a plastic repair proceedure for Hypospadia. The meatus was originally in the cleft of the glans where the frenulum should have been, so it was not a massive proceedure. The repair was made using some of my inner foreskin [mucosal tissue] and I expected that the surgeon would circumcise me at the same time, but alas no. I was told after the op that he did not want to make an already small penis look any smaller by circumcising it! What I will say is that some years prior to all of this I did have a dorsal slit performed because of a rather nasty accident with a zip.
Unfortunately, That did not have the desired effect so I had to go under the knife again this time I was cut at 4o'clock and 8o'clock. When all had healed my penis resembled a partly peeled banana on erection, so it was back for a final tidying up so to speak. Anyway it ended up with about a quarter of an inch of foreskin being cut off all round so I have ended up with a foreskin that looks a bit on the short side or partially retracted.
Anyway enough of that I was thinking of getting Dr.Z to have a look and see what he could do with what is left
Once again congratulations on your site keep up the good work
Phimosis can be cured with manual stretching and steroid cream. Circumcision removes more than 10,000 nerve endings on your penis. I had phimosis, a very bad case, and I was almost going to get circumcised when I found out you could cure it without surgery. I don't know why you would undergo such a horrible surgery when you could have cured it yourself at home with the right technique for less money than your circumcision cost.

Just writing to thank you for making this amazing site. As you know getting cut can be quite a leap of faith but finding your site was the best help i could have hoped for.
Im currently 3 days into the process and just removed the bandages and gauze in the bath. Ive gotta say im well chuffed with how its looking at the moment (just bracing myself for some painful erections tonight!).
I was about 13 when I realised I may have a problem and waited until 20 to finally go ahead with it (haa....head). The point is the 7 years of stress and anxiety about it were completely unnecessary...
Thanks again, seriously, I cannot thank you enough for putting my mind at ease. I will continue to track my progress alongside yours (our progress is incredibly similar). :)

I just want to say that I am reading this three days into my circumcision healing process and it is the best blog about this subject on the web. So informative and comforting to see that what I am looking at and feeling is similar to what another person has experienced.
Thankyou so much for this great site!

Thank you JamesParry so much for recommending the service by circumsurgeons.
I had a re-do done based on your recommendation and it was fab!
My main problem was that I was extremely unhappy with the scar line and ridges left done by an NHS circumcision.
I have pics to share if anyone is interested!
I opted for the advanced closure method and the complete cost was £850 done under local injection anaesthesa.
The lead surgeon does all the re-do circs and he uses a new technique for wound closure using a combination of soft sutures and skin glue. The glue is what makes all the difference because you can return to normal activities (except sex) from the moment you walk out of the clinic. Normal showering and bathing, no wound dressings and much less pain than my first circumcision... what more can I ask for... interestingly, the surgeon is one of the very few who does "partial circumcisions" which retains foreskin for people who want their phimosis corrected, yet do not want to lost their foreskin. If I had this option in the first place, I would have taken that in place of the hospital circumcision.
My round trip from Durham down to the London clinic was completely worth it. The anaesthesa lasted for several hours until I was back at home in bed. Would be interested to hear of other experiences of repeat circumcision surgery. Please email me for more details at jonterry9576@gmail.com

i (18 years old) got cut about 4 months ago, since i was about 12 i thought my penis was a bit different as it was quite sore masturbating and after researching it for so long i finally plucked up the courage to go see my GP he sent me to a urologist who booked me in for a week later i was under anaestethic and it took about 2 hours. i was bandaged up and sent home it took about 2 months to heal which wasnt too bad just realllllly sensitive iv swappped to wearing briefs full time because its still so sensitive. does anyone else have strong sensitivity still??? im really happy with the result and i think a circumcised penis is much better looking too .

Hi. Thanks for your blog. I'm 66 years old and have been having problems for the last year. The skin at the end has shrunk down and although I can pull it back with difficulty, it then becomes like an elastic band and is really hard to get back even with vaseline. I eventually went to my GP who diagnosed Phymosis and referred me to a urologist. There is no chance of paying privatly, being on a pension, but I was given a choice of hospitals. On doing some research I heard that there are 2 surgeuns at St Helens hospital.with a good reputation, so I elected to go there.
I was given an appointment last Thursday and was seen by one of the guys who said there was no real option other than circumcision and as I had a rather large glans he recomended a full cut but leaving a little slack. He then said he would put me on his list and await a contact.
Well they did already and I go in for a physical check up and to discuss the procedure as to what will be done, a week on Tuesday. The operation is set for the Monday following at noon.
I feel this has been a good experience all round, The surgeons are known and seemed to me very understanding and able. Whether that is because they are both of Middle Eastern origin and the brain says they should know more I don't know lol.
I also feel that I have been a spectator up to now so I will come back on here when I have had my consultation, which I will make more of a discussion, now that I know what to ask.

Here's my personal story of performing my own circumcision just 2 months ago. Thanks for allowing me to share my story and pics. = )
Hello,
I always kept my foreskin retracted as a child. I an Hispanic (Mexican American) and I had no problem being difffrent! I always wanted my penus circumsized however. So, I went to Mexico and consulted a urologist there. He was very profesional and it only costed me $600.00. He said it wouldminimally painful, however, IT HURT LIKE HELL!!! (post op ofcourse) I had been married for about 2 years and was very passionate with my young wife. I kept popping erections and hurting myself a great deal... As a result there is a little scaring, but I am very pleased with my newly cut cock! The sex improved a great deal and the fishy penus smell went away. I did not circumsize my 2 boys however.

I had my circ done about 14 years ago. Unfortunately its never been quite right so I did some searching and found the current circumcision experts in the UK via a friend of mine who had their child done by CircumSurgeons. I contacted them and they booked me in for a "re-do circumcision". I have to say that it was the best decision I ever made and was worth every penny. Now, sex is more enjoyable as is masturbation and my penis actually looks quite good! The surgeon who did it was very experienced in both plastic surgery and urology so I was fortunate to have someone who knew what they were doing. Re-circumcisions don't come cheap if you are expecting a high quality surgeon to do the work but these guys are definitely the best out there. They were the 7th clinic I contacted, the first 6 being either GPs or dodgy sunday-surgeons who operate out of the back of a corner shop in Leytonstone. Feel free to email me if you have any questions regarding circumcision surgey or if you want the contact details of these surgeons. I think the site is circumsurgeons.com but I got hold of them via a phone number from a friend. James
My friend wrote up a hilarious (yet accurate) argument about circumcision. Read it at his blog: http://thingsthatshouldntstillexist.wordpress.com/2010/09/23/03-circumcision/

I was circumcised at the age of 14 (I'm now 35) following many years of recurrent infections; eventually my foreskin became scarred and tight (phimosed) to the extent that it was non-retractile and my GP recommended circumcision.
The procedure was simple (I was done under GA and went home the following day), it was almost completely painless, uncomplicated and healed with excellent cosmetic results in about 2-3 weeks.
I have been absolutely delighted with the results ever since. It is significantly more hygienic, looks much nicer and has given me enormous confidence because I know I'm always clean down there. It helps that my wife has confided to me that she prefers circumcised willies for reasons of looks and cleanliness (she told me early on in our relationship when she first discovered I'd been "done").
My only regret about my circumcision is that I was not done when I was born. Had this been the case it would have spared me many years of discomfort and the embarrassment of repeatedly having to present to my GP with a sore penis.
As soon as I was circumcised a problem that had dogged me throughout my life to that point was gone. And as a doctor now myself, I have enormous sympathy for little boys who experience this problem and, like I was, are repeatedly treated with creams and antibiotics as a "conservative measure" because doctors are so unwilling to recommend circumcision. I am also very sympathetic to parents who request the procedure for their children but sometimes struggle to find someone to carry it out for them.
Moreover, when our own son was born, my wife enquired during his newborn check in the maternity hospital about circumcising him and received no help or support from the staff whatsoever. Owing to my experience, and the number of people we see clinically with problems, we had made up our minds that we wished to have him circumcised for the reasons of hygiene and as a preventative measure against future problems.
Despite the lack of useful support from the NHS we did locate a clinic offering infant circumcision at a sensible price.
Our son was circumcised under local anaesthetic using a plastibell when he was 5 weeks old.
The procedure was simple, quick and uncomplicated, the foreskin was completely removed and he showed no signs of distress or discomfort either at the time or subsequently. He healed very quickly (within 1-2 weeks) and we were very pleased with the results. If we have another son he will be circumcised too.
In my view, based on medical evidence and my own experience, the circumcised penis is much cleaner and more hygienic. I think that the NHS should offer circumcision to parents who request it and that doctors should, in general, have a lower threshold for recommending it.
My experience of being circumcised are extremely positive; I have a thoroughly satisfying and enjoyable sex life and I can reassure anyone who is nervous about undergoing the procedure that you will almost certainly not regret it except to wonder why it took you so long...

Had mine done -8days for phimosis,XBO(whatever that is!) and scarring on the glans caused by phimosis.Generally glad I had it done, but thinking about sex A LOT, and can't releive myself. Pain not a problem generally but newly uncovered glans sensitivity is a major issue which I am struggling with, even though it is only partially uncovered(rest covered by bandage which needs changing daily). My advice would be don't be scared of having it done, it's Ok, and if you can expose your glans prior to the big day, do so.Annoying thing is my old chap looks bigger than before (swelling) and I can't put it to the use God intended it for.I think wifee would like to have a bit of fun with my shiny new bigger knob but she will have to wait, by which time it will be back to its normal rather uninteresting dimensions. Oh well....

Hi, thanks for the blog. Having a visual reference to how your penis healed has given me much assurance that I am healing correclty too. Not having any friends who have had an adult circ, it is difficult to find a point of reference. the net is full of useless info but this site is really good.
been 6 weeks for me since my op. found sex a little uncomfortable without lube, and learning how to masturbate again as it is quite different. I read that a condom helps, so I tried that today and had the best wank in about 6 weeks + 1 day :> so for any other guys in recovery, try a condom at home feels good.

Hi - I just wondered why the blog owner opted to keep his glans? This is far less sensitive than the frenulum or foreskin.
Is it because girls find sex more pleasurable without it?

I have been cut recently 11 days ago,
Private on Bupa as suffered from Siginifcant Phimosis all my life (am 22), following a referal from my Doctor G.P. to a Specialist Urologist.
I was unable to pull my foreskin even partially over my headerect or flaccid nd made Relationships difficult to say the least and embarrsed me as felt indiffrenced to other men and couldnt even penetrate.
The Cut I recieved was a Low and Tight one (What the Guy who made this forum wanted first) with Frenulum Removed and visually I am very happy with the results, as is everyone else who has seen my cut. It actually looks like I havent been cut as there is no Scar Line and I am a signifcant Grower.
I have found masturbation VERY different as the techniques used have to change such as massaging the head, and not being able to do anything for at least 3-4 weeks is very hard to deal with.
I am also Tight when erect making it great when having Sex!!!
I can last also much longer than when I had foreskin almost twice to three times as long!
I feel a new sense of Liberation with my cut and am very happy with the style I recieved as it looks like I have Short Foreskin and nothing else, so can be decieveing to all people, ALso none can see the Scar Line at all!!!!
Again I went through my Teen Life suffering in Silence due to the embarrsement but would recommend anyone who has Phimosis which cannot be resolved upon investigation by a Proffesional Urologist to have this done.
You may be in discomfort for 4 weeks but after that things do improve siginifcantly for the better.

A brilliant blog and really really helpful. thank you and fairplay to u
i had the cut thursday 3rd june. had to be done for medical reasons. healing going well. on day 6now, the night time erections are really killing me and on one side of the penis the wound keeps spliting a little cause of the erections. this is making it a little bit sore and stinging. the stitches are also annoying me, i think i had a low cut.
worried a little about infection on this side. taking salt water baths twice a day. the operation was fine, done on nhs.
i did feel a little pain during op, and had to get more injections, but apart from that it was not to bad.
thanks for ur very detailed blog, it had really helped me. cannot wait till i am 100 days on from now.
cheers

I was cut by dr z in late 2005 and it was the best dession i have made. i had long foreskin but it was more a personal choice as i just didnt like having a 4 skin. i had high and tight. for all those wondering how long the recovery takes then the real answere is as long as it takes. every one is different. mine had small bits of swelling that took a while to go but they do go usually just when u think ur stuck with them. the horrible bit only lasts a couple weeks or so but then its down to time just like having a cut on ur finger.
if u want a circ then do it. i never looked back and wouldnt go back if i had the chance.

Hi, this is a brilliant informitive site. I am going to get cut next month probably at Custom House.
I have seen this web site,www.circumcisionclinic.net from an article on walesonline. Cardiff would be more convenient to me. I spoke to the surgeon and he does circumcisions for non medical reasons. Does anybody have any feed back on this clinic?

Ben.
What a fantastic site this is! I am 18 years old and currently at University. For several years I had wanted to get myself circumcised purely for cosmetic reasons, but for one reason or another kept putting it off. I made up my mind finally just before starting at Uni last year and commenced making enquiries as to where I could get the operation done. I eventually found a suitable clinic and booked an appointment. I was circumcised on Friday 19th February 2010 and since then have been wondering why it took so long to make up my mind. The results of my circ are just fantastic and I am 100% satisfied with my re-designed tackle. I asked to be cut fairly high and tight also having the frenulum removed, the doctor has followed my requests to the letter. I was very nervous at first, but as soon as he started to cut me I felt totally happy and at ease, I even watched the whole proceedure with interest, everything was being explained to me at each stage of the op, which helped me considerably. It is just over three weeks now since my circumcision and the healing process has gone extremely well so far, I suffered some discomfort during the first 4/5 days after my op but had no real problems, night time erections did cause a bit of pain and discomfort but thank heaven for a bag of frozen peas! I am a keen cyclist and yesterday went cycling for the first time since being clipped, wearing my tight lycra cycling shorts gave plenty of support and made me quite horny! I have several mates at Uni who have all been cut as young adults and they all; without exception said it was the best thing they had ever done. As to the £600 it cost me for my circ, I consider it money well spent, altough as a student it has left me temporarily short of funds but what the hell, I am now cut and proud! Word soon got out at Uni that I had just been cut and since then a large number of people have come up to me and been very supportive, I have had no negative comments from anyone. My parents don't know I have just been cut but I think I will tell them at some stage. So for anyone considering having themselves cut, my advice is: Dont waste any more time wondering what it would be like. Book yourself an appointment and lose that foreskin asap, dont wait years like I did, start enjoying a cut manhood. My only regret? Not being circumcised at a much earlier age. I am enjoying my new look 100%. My grateful thanks go to the owner of this fantasic site, and to those people who have posted their thoughts and comments.

Great site, very informative and educational especially for guys who are considering getting the snip. I am 1 week into the healing process and wanted to compare progress and your blog was spot on. I would also recommend to anyone getting it done to ask their doctor about using Kenacomb ointment on it. My doctor has advised me to use it 3 times a day and it is working exceptionally well, it provides lubricant to stop the wound sticking to my underwear as well as the anti-biotic, anti-septic and steriod actions this contains. I have only once had bleeding after a shower (due to vaso-dilation) and apart from sensitivity everything is going perfectly. Thanks again for a great site, I look forward to comparing over the next 3-4 weeks.

I have now been cut for almost the exact amount of time as the website owner, and was very pleased to have this forum to refer to during the whole time. I am now 45 years old and for 44 years NEVER had any problems with my foreskin and penis. All worked as it should do. Unfortunately I then got a tightening of my foreskin, had problems with sex and the doctor advised a circumcision. This was done very quickly and no problems encountered at all.
BUT, although everything is now working well again, I would NEVER get my sons done or recommend other people get their kids done if nothing is wrong. Masterbation is MUCH worse and I believe sex is worse, there is just too much friction and never mind how much you lube up, it's just not as good anymore.
Please, I encourage you to only go through with this procedure if there is a medical reason for it. I can't believe people do this to their own sons when it is not necessary, maybe they just do not know the difference it makes to sexual activity. It is a tiny operation, let the males decide for themselves if they want it done for cosmetic reasons or just to be like their mates. It may well be the right thing for them, but it shouldn't be chosen for them by others. It really is noticeably worse for sex and I feel very sorry for those that have missed out on a better sex life.
Note, these are my own opinions and others may well find the sex better, but for me it wasn't like that and every male should have the option for themselves unless it is medically required.

Well I'm 35 and had my circumcision 4 days ago now, it was painless apart from the erection during the night which are very uncomfortable, I have resorted to running cold water over it and it seems to work well. Unlike you have had no bandages and have been bathing in salted water with savlon 2 /3 times a day. All good so far thank for your blog it has answered many of my questions.... I think the key is to keep bathing it in salted water

Hi I just wanted to say how much help your blog has been. I got circumcised 3 days ago and was wondering how long it was gonna take to get back to normal (I know everyone is different but it helps to get an idea) I am 26 and needed it done due to phimosis. Its still uncomforfatable and looks like its been battered but it is bearable! Thanks again for this blog as I feel the doctor didnt really give me enough of an idea of the aftermath. Regards, Tom

Had my circumcision three days ago and mine looing very neat and tidy !! Very impressed with it ! Have bled a fair bit after bathing and today day 3 Ive kept it out all day after my bath ! Much better and means im more protective of it. Had some erections on the evening of day 1 which I think contributed to the bleeding !Really dont want an erection for a few days but that will be impossible. This blog is fantastic and is what convinced me in the end to go through with the operation. I had phimosis for about 5 years and used KY jelly to aid sex but became a real chore !! Cant wait to use my new penis !

I’m still uncut and regret that I missed the opportunity to have it done when I was 8 years old. Both of my brothers were done as infants but I was a preemie baby and my circumcision kept getting postponed. When I was 8 years old I had to have my tonsils out and my mom secretly made plans behind my back with the doctor to circumcise me at the same time. I somehow found out just days before going into the hospital and protested loudly. As it turns out the doctor ran into complications with my tonsils and didn’t have time to do the intended circumcision. My mom was furious, and scheduled me to have done a few weeks later. Again, something went wrong with her plans and it got postponed again. This happened 3 more times. She finally gave up, chalking it up to fate. She didn’t force the issue after that but asked me a few more times if I’d get it done. At that age I didn’t know what I was missing by not being circumcised so I refused her offer. Today I deeply regret not letting things take their course – I would now be circumcised like I should be. I will eventually get it done on my own.

After putting off the idea from the age of 15, hoping that I wouldn't have to resort to such a painful procedure, I've finally had it done. Now 17, and a week through my op, I have to say my road to recovery has been a quick one. After a few little worries set straight with help from your blogs, I now cannot wait until my newly modified tackle will be back in working order! Many thanks for all the information!

I have decided, after many years of putting it off, to have a cosmetic circumcision. It is what I have always wanted, and of course shall wish I did it years ago! My foreskin works perfectly welll, but is always rolled back, so the head has been uncovered for years, and I now want to make it permanent. This is an excellent site as it answers many questions about post-op care and healing. I am still deciding when and where to have it done, but I am sure the info here will be of great use afterwards.

Just wanted to say congrats on what a great site you've made. I'm getting circumcised in a couple weeks as i also suffer from bad phimosis, although i've never seen the head of my penis uncovered, not even by accident lol. I've been looking round for sites about after care / what to expect etc, and i think this ones going to be very usefull, with the addition of the pictures (which i think you're very brave to share, by the way. especaily the erect one.) Having read all you're blog entries, i just hope it all goes as well for me as it seemed to for you. =]

alright so i just got CIRC 3 days ago, took bandage off last night and i almost passed out.
Let me start from the beginning.
i am 18 years old and i have been uncirc my whole life i had tight foreskin and it was VERY ugly i would think that if females saw it they would say " EEEW that looks like the tip of a Tied baloon!!" I could not retract the the skin when fully erect at all ! So first i went to the Dr. and he checked my little fella out and told me i had tight foreskin wich i already knew he said the only option is circumcision so i accepted. 3 days... I went to do the op... it took around 1-2 hours from when i got on the bed tell i got in the car on my way home. at first i didnt have ANY PAIN at all it was just a bit sensitive on the tip.. Being myself a very horny person i would get an erection every other hour and when i tried thinking of not getting an erection i would get another one.. it was horrible i had to think of really hairy tarantulas and spiders crawling on me and that barely helped.. ANYWAYS. the first night was FINE:) and i was relieved i had finally done it. But sadly i committed the dumbest mistake ever the 2nd day after the opt.. i went out and got really high and sweaty and drunk. when i got home that night i took off the bandage and it looked like a bad version frankenstien it was very depressing the first 4 hours of witnessing the horrible looking penis. thats when pain was the worst and i wouldnt allow anything to get even close to touching it. the next day ( today ) 3rd day it was feeling a bit better and swelling had gone down tommorow is my first day of school and i am very worried and know im going to face alot of pain and discomfert who ever reads this pray for me;"(

Thanks for the info and pictures. I just got cut today, and this site is where I plan to go to see what to expect. My doctor hasn't really prepared me for anything (and if there's anything I should be prepared for, please let me know :)
Thanks again, this is great. I don't feel so alone anymore because I had phimosis all my life and I'm 25 now. It's great to see that I'm in good company!

I am going to be circumcised in a month and cant wait. I don't have any real problems with my foreskin, but I just feel I need to be circumcised. I live in NSW Australia and am aged 25 and half the guys around me are circumcised and I just want to be like them.
I believe circumcision is a good thing and when I have sons they will be as well.

Congratulations to you and everyone else who'se been brave enough to get circumcised later in life (anytime in adulthood). I had it done at 19 whilst at university (on my summer break actually), and have never regretted it. I was cut quite low, with lots of the tanned outer skin left, and only half an inch of the pinker inner skin. my glans has gradually taken on the paler colour of the inner skin and lost its purple, glossy shine. The head is also thicker and plumper these days than before I was 19, and now at 34, it looks very nice. I've had many complimentary comments from women who have either had a conversation with me about circumcision and its merits, or those who have had any degree of sexual contact with me. in my experience nobody in the uk is prepared to circumcise, preferring the path of least resistance (leave it alone), yet if it's been done, they always want a look and always have positive comments about the appearance and cleanliness of a circumcised willy over its wrinkled, frilly counterpart. growing up, i noticed that friends whose mums worked in some aspect of the medical industry/NHS always had their boys circumcised. I've always wondered why.

When I was a baby my parents wanted me to be circumcised. The silly doctor convinced them that I did not need it and he stretched my foreskin. When I was 3 - 6 years old I noticed that my father's penis was different from mine. I thought that mine would be like his when I grew up - until I was 6 and my baby brother was circumcised. When I was 7 - 8 I discovered that most of my best friends had been cut. Boys of that age compare penises and I discovered that the penises of my friends who had been cut looked and felt much nicer than mine or uncircumcised friends.
About that time my sister said that she thought our brother's penis looked nicer than mine. I then began to hate my foreskin. Every time I had to go to the doctor I wanted to ask him to circumcise me, but I never had the courage. In my teens, from talking to friends, I discovered that circumcised friends were given oral sex by girls much more often than me or uncircumcised friends. Still I had not the courage to ask my doctor to get rid of my foreskin.
When I was in my early 20s and married to a pretty German blonde, we discovered that when we made love it felt much better for both of us if she held my foreskin tightly back with her hand (that way my penis caused more friction with her sensitive parts - she said a loose foreskin was no better than a thick condom). Obviously that was not ideal, so at last I asked my doctor to circumcise me. He agreed to do it free, but insisted that I would have to stay in hospital overnight. Being a shy young man I was embarrassed about what the nurses would think, so one lunch hour I went to a private doctor in Harley Street, London, and had it done with local anaesthetic. It took no longer than a visit to the dentist, and I went right back to my office. When I got home my wife couldn't wait to have a look, but of course she couldn't see much because of a bandage. But within two weeks we were having greatly improved sex! And since then my second wife (Chinese) and all my lovers in between marriages and since my second wife left me, have told me that they were glad I had been circumcised.
My most recent lover, a Chinese student, now sadly back in China, had never seen a circumcised penis before mine and she couldn't get enough of it! She said that if her future fiance is not circumcised she will insist that he is before she marries him.
When between marriages I was close friends with a beautiful girl. I fancied her tremendously but she made it clear that she wanted only to be friends until one day she suddenly asked "Are you circumcised?" I said "Yes" and she blushed and asked "May I have a look?" Of course I said "Yes, if you want to." She unzipped me, gazed at my penis, stroked him, giving me the best erection ever, and then sucked him. You can guess what happened after that. It was wonderful for a few weeks but sadly it couldn't last.
For me I suppose the two best things since being circumcised have been giving increased pleasure to my lovers and being given spontaneous oral sex in the most unlikely places! Who would give oral sex to an uncircumcised man unless his penis had just been washed ? ? Stopping foreplay to go and wash is such a turn off ! !
So that is why I am now very pleased that I was at last circumcised - my only regret is that it was not done as a baby. I suppose it is interesting to have made love and masturbated with and without a foreskin - but I know which I prefer.
As for my size - not large, just average I think (6.5 inches), but no lover ever complained. I think the main thing has been that I have always been able to keep an erection for a long time, and to start again fairly soon after an orgasm. But also, I never get tired of using my fingers and tongue, for as long as my lovers want.
I'll be very interested to know what you think about my story, and to have any comments you may have.

I got circumcised when I was 16 years old. From when I was 13 I had kept my foreskin retracted together with a friend. After 3 years of almost permanent retraction my (once quite tight!) foreskin had become so short that the doctor suggested a circumcision to make it permanent, which I gladly accepted. My parents approved and I got cut. I enjoy my clean and nice circumcised penis every day and never regretted I had it done. My friend had his foreskin removed one year later after he had seen (and experienced!) what it had done for me. We had frequently sex together and saw that I had no problems of tightness of the foreskin and that being circumcised just enhanced sex. I think it would be a good thing if more boys got circumcised during their teens. Congrats and succes with your site!

Had the chop yesterday, I am 65 and was getting re-occuring Balanitis. All the years there was skin attaching my Fren. Made a slight sting when erect. There was a lot of cutting in this area. My bandage is little more than a transparent tape 3/4 inch wide, it has slipped off underneath. I have no pain and very little bleeding. very sensitve at the end and swolen. I am worried about infection with no dressing underneath. But nice to know the progress of others and what to expect.

It looks really good and your progress has been amazing. It was so nice to have your blog and perspective on adult circumcision so that many guys who are in the position of not knowing what to do can have a balanced view. There's so much negative information and name calling that it probably scares people needlessly. You're a brave soul for sharing so much personal time and information.

Well, I have to say finding this site was very timely. I'm among those recently relieved of skin, and like you it was phimosis that prompted getting cut. I had failed corrective surgery some years ago to address the tightness but the experience was so unpleasant it took me a further 2 years to build enough courage to decisively deal with the problem.
Your day-by-day/week-by-week account, and especially pictures, of the progression have really stopped my living nightmare of being rendered a Eunuch.
Thank you for being so frank about something that is a very evocative and much-discussed subject. I personally think you're very brave.
My thanks to you.

Hi
I'm 18 years old and being circumcised tomorrow, having had phimosis throughout my life. I'm very, very nervous about it but your website has really helped me so far, and has convinced me that it probably won't be as bad as I'm imagining. The pictures are really helpful and much appreciated.
So thanks very much for the encouragement and best wishes to you.

Thanks for uploading
I just got circumcised last week.
The first week was really tough for me - 5 weeks more of avoiding erections will be a challenge
Your pictures are putting my mind at ease - it finally will come right :-)

A truly great blog. I look forward to further updates. I was cut at age 47 from choice and recirc'd 5 years later due to excess skin which partly covered the glans. Being cut is the best decision I ever made for myself. Only sorry I waited so long to have it done. Keep up the good work as it will help so many make a decision to get cut.

I'd like to see a close up picture of the scar when the penis is erect. You dont have to put the whole cock on but the scar would give me an idea of how it looks afterwards. Jim

Everyone keeps mentioning all the plus points and although I am happy I had the necessary operation done at 44 years of age (after 43 years without a single problem with my foreskin); I have a small niggling doubt.
When I had my working foreskin (for the 31 years or so, of masterbating frequently) I could have a long slow tug with about 4" or 5" movement of loose skin. This produced no excess rubbing as the same skin was always under my fingers, that's how much free movement there was. No lubrication was needed, but sometimes for fun. Now, even though I had a very short part of my skin cut off (leaving it abit baggy under my knob) it only goes tight during an erection, but I find to masterbate how I used to I only have a very short amount of skin to move up and down, like 1 - 1.5 inch. Otherwise I have to lube up and slide up and down along my whole shaft.
The experience is not any worse, but it is very different. I am pleased I have been able to experience both ways, but I do feel I have lost out on my old experience (that I really enjoyed). Before I could do it both ways, by pulling my excess skin back to base with my other hand, and continuing as now...or by taking the old excess skin and moving it up and down the whole shaft.
My circumcision was due to a problem that occured late in life (BXO), it had to be done. I would not put my son through the operation unless it became necessary as mine was. I hope he never needs it done.

Thanks for all the recent comments and everyones continued interest in my blog site.
I am also really grateful for all the nice comments people have posted about how good my cut looks!
Just to correct Allie's comment, my cut is High and moderately tight, not loose. No skin covers my glans, and when erect it is tight, but not so tight that it is pulling up scrotal skin! This is exactly what I wanted, I never wanted a loose cut as I see this as half a circumcision, and I wanted the full thing.
As for masturbation, I have found that everything just feels so normal for me. Even though I have had to change technique it has been an easy change and one that I have got used to quickly. I can masturbate dry, but have found that using lube increases sensitivity really well. The past 6 weeks have been fun experiment!
(Posted on 2009-05-06 18:38:00 by Adult Circ Blog)
Allie and I are both coming at this from a particular perspective... which of course, is not "right" or "wrong": it is just where we are. When you are cut ant birth, your entire sexual experience is from that standpoint. And if "getting circumcised" — preparing for the operation, finding the courage to tell some one about it, living with the after effects &c &c is a unique sexual experience, in a way, it is something child-cutees do not know about or sleep through.
Have you written anything about (re)discovering masturabtion on the cut state?
(Posted on 2009-05-05 20:33:00 by cutboy70)
Hello.....I have to agree with cutboy70 where he says: 'To me, your new circumcised penis looks just right... exactly like a circumcised penis should.' You appear to be high and loose- I, cut at birth, am low and loose and I warn you: I have received many negative comments about haveing had a loose cut. Since this was chosen for me in infancy, I hardly had a choice in the matter...however- other circumcised guys seem to hold a negative view of the 'loose' style, in general and I have been asked many times: 'So, when you getting a tighter cut?' So much so, that I am seriously considering it...more so since I find myself in parts of the world where a tight circumcision is the norm. I have sorta accepted that circumcision/uncircumcision is controversial to say the least and so everybody will always have something or other to say.
All the same, I think your penis is looking just great and you have reason to be proud...ENJOY!

It is interesting to read your story and follow the procedure through from start to finish. I was circumcised at birth, and when you have only ever known what it is like to have a circumcised penis, the uncut member looks — hope this is the right choice of words — "alien" (i.e. something you have know experience of, cannot imagine). To me, your new circumcised penis looks just right... exactly like a circumcised penis should.

Just wanted to say thank you the site. I am now on day 10 and being able to follow your progress has helped me greatly with some of the worries etc! I feel I am healing very well and I seem to be ahead of you (I got a similar cut but with the frenulum retained) which makes me feel great as I know how your progress has gone from day 10 onwards. The erections for me are still painful and I am sure this is due to the stitches pulling, I have 8 left in, some have come out and I have taken out one that seemed to have started to really cut into the skin, really looking forward to having them totally out so i can experience a full erection with no discomfort! I am still very swollen but again this from your pictures I know if normal and so once again I am put at ease due to your blog. Many thanks, and I wish you well with your new little fella! Finally, even in the healing stage it just feels so much better to be cut! Its strange, but it just feels right!

We'll, the Doctor told me the nurse would cut the stitches out ! I couldn't watch but helped by holding "the old man" this way and that so should could perform the cutting. She used a pair of tweezers and a new blade from a packet. BUT, I could feel her cutting into my skin, pulling this way and that, sawing through the stitches and even pushing against my skin with what felt like the blade. Now I'm a woose... and felt the sweat appear under my arms and on my forehead! But I thought she knows what she is doing, and she'll probably bandage me up afterwards.
It was soon all done and I looked down to see not a drop of blood, no cuts, and luckily no stitches. I don't know how she did it but I presume she pulled gently with the tweezers and cut next to the skin. All that worry for nothing.
I can also confirm I felt immediately better, no tightness down below, no uncomfortable rubbing anymore. Even managed my first sex with the wife, but I did take it very slowly and gently when she was very well lubricated !!!

Hi All, I'm just approaching my 5 weeks after having the chop. And my details are very different but all is still going well. My dis-solving stitches have completely failed to dis-solve at all, I still have 12 little knots just beneath my knob ! All else seems to have gone well, it's just the knots have never fallen away.
I was initially told they would fall off between 10-14 days, so I was careful to hardly touch them for 2 weeks, then I started gently rubbing them with a finger after a long soak in the bath....still they stayed in place. Then a nurse saw them and said sometimes they can take up to 4 weeks and that I shouldn't pull at them at all. So I left them alone, and now at 4 weeks and 5 days they are still all there and I'm seeing the doctor later today at 4pm.
Do I not have the right enzyme in my blood ? Did they forget to use dis-solving stitches? Who knows.
Apart from the stitches, my "wound" looks very similar; I haven't seen any blood spotting since week three, but I still do not fancy running around playing football just yet. Luckily (!), I've only missed 8 days from work so far and I'm due back on Friday unless this doctor extends my sick note.
Not looking forward to a doctor pulling the stitches out !!!! Hoping they are actually dis-solving slowly !

Hello again: Sorry to read about your fren area taking a little longer than one would have liked- I can understand if you a little impatient now- but take heart from the fact that your progress over the last 4- 5 weeks has been steady and that the worst is over for sure. I guess the real problem with the scab is that your penis lays perhaps in a particular / certain way in your clothes (underpants) as you move about during the day. Maybe an idea would be to tape it into a comfortable position - one that would protect the scab also from for instance shaveing against your underpants...
Hope that if you still taking the anti-biotics, it is not affecting your concentration etc too much.
From the pics, which are looking fantastic, by the way- it would seem that your fren was entirely removed. I have spoken to guys who have gone through the trouble to have a re-circ- due to the fact that they thought that they had not had enough fren removed the first time and that they apeared 'untidy'. Just wondering if this was your thinking or is it the style your circumciser adopted?
Just something interesting I heard from a South African Muslim friend of mine the other day: -that South African Muslims favour by tradition the circumcision of their sons in infancy and beleive that by then keeping a boys diaper on- once he has urinated in it promotes the almost seemless and rapid healing of the newly circumcised penis...and this is carried on by Muslim mothers here from generation to generation.

Looks like you are healing really nicely and at about the same pace that I healed. Like I said in a previous post, the frenlum be a little bit of an angry area from a healing perspective. I had the same scab issue too but found being naked as much as possible helped and I didn't sleep with any bottoms on either. Also, keeping my pubes trimmed back and my nuts shaved too helped so that hair didn't stick to the scab and pull it off.

I've enjoyed following your progress. and it's particularly interesting to compare yours with mine 15 years ago. Fact is that my experience almost exactly mirrors yours, both in general appearance and in time-scale. Main diference between you and me is that your cut is higher than mine, and I think my stitches came out (rather, dissolved into yellow goo) a few days earlier than yours. Like you, the fren area was the last to heal. I think I have some photos still, though still as old film photo negatives.

Originally,i was circumcised at about the age of three, due to what seems to have been phimosis. My mother had me circumcised at the Jewish Hospital in Manchester - now defunct. My memories were of a very sore foreskin which gave me a lot of grief - hence the circumcision. I believe my mother was pro-circ anyway , as was the culture of those times. For many years I was embarrassed by my circumcision, my peers asked why it looked different from a "normal penis". When I explained that I had an operation, that cut my foreskin away ,they were in total disbelieif, or they would laugh. As the years passed ,I was grateful for my circumcised state ,because it not only looked better, but it provided protection from women ( a fact that a lot of men foreget) if a woman does not attend to her vaginal hygiene. In August 2006 I underwent a re circumcision with Dr Zarifa at the Custom House Surgery in London.
He explained the procedure thoroughly,so i went ahead and had my frenulum removed and skin taken from the shaft of my penis. A re circ is or can be more difficult due there being less skin to operate on. But if a man requires a circumcision go ahead and get it done.
Robert.

I remember you saying you were a grower not a shower. As you are now having pain free erections I wonder if we can see your results with an erection? I echo all the other comments about this being a great site and how good your new cock is looking.

I know everyone keeps saying how good it lks....but it is looking good! You must be pleased. Your life as a confident cut guy is about to begin. I found it did lots for my confidence.

Hi there
Great looking cut. I was worried when you said you were getting cut close to the glans, but your cut seems to have a nice amount of mucosal skin. This skin will keratinize and all will feel good. Better to have more skin to play with rather than it be too tight.
I am looking forward to hi-res pictures at a later date to see how the healing is going. Welcome to the club.

Your pictures look great and congratulations on making the decision to get cut. I am amazed at your progress. I was thinking, honestly, that your head (glans) would have been smaller since it was cooped up for so long but quite the contrary. It looks great. Again congratulations and I look forward to seeing your completed recovery. Anyway, of letting other cut guys post their pics here - to sort of compare? I was cut at birth so I probably won't qualify but it would be nice to see how other adults have progressed and hear their comments. There's so much negative things being said that it's good to hear positive comments from guys who decide for one reason or another to get circumcised. Thanks for sharing.

Hi...thanks again for the updates and pics. I am astonished at how good the pics are looking already!
I am glad that you went for, what I consider a routine post procedure check up. In the process you got rid of those stiches and some advice on anti-biotics...and perhaps a bit of re-assurance. It all just makes me feel a bit better too.
Sorry though about the fren area takeing a little longer and the healing not going as smooth as you would have liked. You dont provide any pics of what this looks like. (The fren area). I have noticed that some guys (Americans, mainly), usually have the fren totally removed with a totally smooth look there. Others (Europeans mainly), seem to have broad tough looking fren skin left there, after a circ. I myself have some fren with two scars, like dots- as if it had been loosened up from two points - one just below the glans and one about 1cm down where the fren line ends. Many guys on sites such as: 'www.cuttingclub.co.de', refer to a re-circ, that is a further cutting of left- over fren as they seem to think it had not been neatly done the first time. When I did chat to a circumcision doctor here in Cape Town about haveing a re-circ, as I have a sorta loose low circ done in infancy, he on examining me referred to removing what is left of the fren totally as if he assumed this would be standard for a re-circ. So, perhaps you could inform as to what extent your fren was removed etc, and where exactly at the back there it is still bleeding and being a little stubborn in healing.
I guess still your biggest challenge is the impatience to get on with a 100% normal routine and life again. Hang in there, your pics are looking great. Point is that it is obvious, that your result is going to look superb, it already does.

I am 3 days behind you, but I sometimes feel I'm going one step forward and two steps backwards! One day all looks great and a vast improvement, then I wake up in the morning with lots of "yellowy" stains in my underpants from a weeping stitch. AHHHhhhhh....
It is just not possible to stop living and spend 3 weeks in bed for everything to heal perfectly. I am sure it's just having to walk around the shops and swinging abit wrong, or getting into the car badly, but it looks like a couple of days and I'll be all better...then things go wrong again.
Glad to see we are all in the same boat, but my Dr has not given me any anti-biotics, taken any stitches out or anything like some of your experiences. I have even been told not to take salt baths !!!!
Another 10 days we'll both be perfectly OK no doubt, but it's still a worry !!

Hi....Sir, I am pleased to see, that your day 11 pics are looking fine...very much a preview of what it is all going to look like finally. Remember, it is only DAY 11! So please be patient. If anything, I get the impression that your healing process has gone into over-drive and is really taking shape now. I am also happy that you have opted not to try to remove the stitches yourself and that you will have a consultation with yor GP, I guess it is more psychological than anything else, but why not...you dont want to tamper with something a professional can do. I, myself would have done the same. (This is not the guy with the bow-tie, right?) A day 14 consultation is pretty routine from where I come from, so I just feel better that you following that pattern too. It is really nice to read that you are able to dress normally and go out, that you are able to sleep through the night and even get regular erections without a hassle. More importantly you are feeling good sensations and the like...AND IT IS ONLY DAY 11!!!
Keep us posted, OK?

I also had no follow up consultation, and I'm now on day 6. Purely down to nerves I did call the hospital in Warwick and today I saw my own Dr by choice. Both said everything was going along perfectly and nothing new needs to be done, always encouraging when you hear a Dr say that !
I have been told that after standing in the shower for 15 minutes and before drying myself, I should just pour a cup of warm but pre-boiled water over everything, just as a sterile environment. Didn't know Severn Trent were that bad !!!
Slight spotting on underwear, blood and clear/yellow fluid but nothing to worry the Dr's, still it's not there dick !!!!
(Posted on 2009-03-19 16:50:00 by gobalot)
Hi...glad to see on the pics of your dick, that it is actually beginning to look like a regular circumcised dick. I am no medic, but have seen enough circ'd dicks - comeing from a culture which promotes circumcision- to know what one looks like. I guess once the stitiches have popped, the swelling has subsided completely (your dick will be smaller, right!), and the peeling of the glans ends and the fren area settles, you will be A for away. Also happy that you can get a full erection with minimal problems...can only be more pleasurable from here on. I am surprised you have not had a follow up consultation with your Doc, except for the phone call from your side...I guess your distance from London is the issue...but in Kuwait and here in South Africa, a follow up is routine- I think it has to do more with reassurance than anything else. I guess the greatest challenge at your stage now, is the mental one...the impatience, the boredom. I am very grateful for the research you have done for yourself and that you understand everything that is happening and that you share this knowledge in a personal way with interested guys like myself. You will always have a great story to tell. It is a fascinating journey though, one I never had, seeing my twin and I were circumcised as infants. Like I am today, is like I have always been...at least in my conciousness (spelling?). Thanks again to you and the internet, I get to share a journey of a lifetime.

It looks like your healing nicely. I know it seems like your frenulum will never settle down but it is just a much slower area to heal. I did read where you already realize how sensitive that area will be going forward. Having it removed is the best feeling! Just wait till you get to try it out.

Hi Gobalot,
Glad to hear things are coming on ok for you, it sounds like you are doing pretty well. I am onto day 8 now and I had a bit of blood that was on my dressing in my pants last night. I think it was from the pressure of an erection pressing against the dressing, so I may like you try not wearing any underwear to bed tonight, so thanks for that tip.
Salt baths are great, and they are actually very soothing and don’t sting at all, so I am really enjoying having them. They don’t dissolve the stitches faster, as the stitches actually dissolve through contact with certain enzymes in blood not through water!
Anyways I hope it continues to heal well.
Cheers

I'm now on day 5 of the op. and have occasional bleeding from the top stitches. Nothing that actually drips, but dark blood that gets onto my underwear or sheets. I have tried wearing underwear to bed, but can't sleep like that and end up kicking them off and sleeping on my back. I have found day to day activities are fine except walking too much, I went shopping walking around town and felt like I'd been kicked in the balls for the rest of the day. Best to rest a bit more I guess.
I am only showering in the morning and washing "my tackle" over the sink in the evening, by allowing warm water to run over everywhere. Then patting dry with a towel. My Dr did not mention warm salt baths, personally I would expect that to sting...and wan't the staying in the bath, letting the stitches get wet for ages, mean they will disolve quicker? Not a happy prospect!!

Hi...thanks for allowing your progress to be followed: Glad the worst pain seems to be over and that you can spend a day in a suit, at work, even if it/you felt a little restricted. Also glad that the bruising has subsided and that you maybe beginning to feel pleasurable sensations...for instance at the fren area. I guess your greatest challenge now is to be patient (spelling correct?). You refer to a 'black' incision line. I have found and a perusal of porn pics will show, that usually fair skinned guys, as yourself, do not have a prominent circ scar as would a darker (brown/caramel) skinned guy like myself, would have. So will be interesting to watch that aspect. I am a bit puzzled as to why your glans are peeling skin? What is the medical reason for this and what effect will it have in the long term?
Take care and relax over the next few days.

Looks like you are healing nicely! My frenulum was the tricky spot for healing as well. I just took that area little longer to heal and it did bleed a little a few times after my bandages were removed. Now that area is the most sensitive and pleasurable area on my cock. Your blog will serve to be a great resource to those considering circumcision or an adult revision.

(Noah, 28 years old, Circed 8 years ago)
Thank for your info anf pictures. It was a great help.
Once again congratulations on your site keep up the good work
Regards V..
Thanks for a well documented and detailed story. Hopefully it will help some men who are too nervous to opt for the op.

Message for James below. I have spoken to this surgeon on the Phone sounds like he knows what he is doing.
Please email me at lp376350@gmail.com it would be interesting to hear your experiences

Oh well....
i was circumcised in july,2010 i love it!!!! i am 53 and wish i had it done years ago....i kept getting recurrent balanitis which was more painful than the actual circumcision ...the circumcision it self was not painful at all,i was put to sleep and even the stitches wasn't bad...so guys who are thinking about it dont delay ....
I read that a condom helps, so I tried that today and had the best wank in about 6 weeks + 1 day :> so for any other guys in recovery, try a condom at home feels good.
hi i was just wondering how much did you pay.
Hi - I just wondered why the blog owner opted to keep his glans? This is far less sensitive than the frenulum or foreskin.
Is it because girls find sex more pleasurable without it?
Hi - Great website, where abouts can i find other peoples stories?
A brilliant blog and really really helpful. thank you and fairplay to u
i had the cut thursday 3rd june. had to be done for medical reasons. healing going well. on day 6now, the night time erections are really killing me and on one side of the penis the wound keeps spliting a little cause of the erections. this is making it a little bit sore and stinging. the stitches are also annoying me, i think i had a low cut.
worried a little about infection on this side. taking salt water baths twice a day. the operation was fine, done on nhs.
i did feel a little pain during op, and had to get more injections, but apart from that it was not to bad.
thanks for ur very detailed blog, it had really helped me. cannot wait till i am 100 days on from now.
cheers
HEY
just a massive thanks really to the blogger of this site. This was the only site I have found that haas given me brilliant advice and information. I was cut last thursday and it has been no where near as bad as I thought it would be! soo happy I finally plucked up the corage to talk to the doctor about my tight forskin. Iv been comparing this site to my own healing day by day and freddy (my penis) is comming on brilliantly :)
Thanks again!!!!!!!!!!!
i hope all you freshly choped guys like what you have done to you selfs!
yes, the routine circumcision at Custom House includes removal of the frenulum. Mine was done that way and it looks a good bit neater!
Dave
Anyone know whether frenulum removal comes within the circumcision fee at Custom House Surgery?
hi
I did mine 7 days ago with Dr Zarifa. He is fantastic, have had no pain at all, with the ease at which he conducted the procedure. I had sleepless night and nighmare for 2 weeks, thinking about the NEEDLE!!!been stuck in your **** can you believe what a sissy... on the contrary whe way Dr Zarifa talks and makes jokes, i didnot even know we had injected me and the next thing it had gone completely numb. Things are improving on a daily bases and I can just imagine the results. It sore time and again but hey no pain no gain right... guys Dr Zarifa, Slyvia ( Manager) and Pat ( the nurse) is you answer forget the rest, you could not have a better team sorting you dong.
G'Day thanks 4 the bog.its great 4 all the guys in UK.who now understand that its the best! look of all a cock that has been well cut. personaly i think it should be law all guys should be cut.
hope your site inspires many guys 2 be done.cheers Darrel Tasmania Australia.
Russ.
Rik
James
Your pictures are putting my mind at ease - it finally will come right :-)
Cheers
Ray

Allie
Hi..
Thank you for sharing the website and your experiences. After watching your pictures, I think you got a well operation.
Good luck!
Best regards.
Gary
Hi Gobalot,
Glad to hear things are coming on ok for you, it sounds like you are doing pretty well.
CHEERS
